- How Soil Is Prepared For Stevia Seeds? Mix rich soil is best with organic manure. Stevia seeds prefers slightly acidic to neutral soil with a pH of 6.5–7.5.
- How To Sow Stevia Seeds? Sow the stevia seeds about a 1/4" deep. Note* that don't burry then at more depth which will cause less or no germination of the seeds.
- Location: Location required for stevia seeds in warm place. It can be grown in gardens, raised beds, or pots, making it suitable for both urban and rural settings.
- Sunlight Need For Stevia Seeds: This herbal plant needs full sunlight to partial sunlight of atleast 6 hours.
- Water Requirement For Stevia Seeds: Provide medium watering. When the soil seems to be dry. But keep the soil always moist but not sogyy.
- Provision of cover over the sown stevia seeds leads to fast germination and after the germination of seeds remove the cover.
- How Much Time Is Required For Germination Of Stevia Seeds? Stevia seeds takes at least 14 days to germinate in optimal conditions but they may take upto 20 days to get germiantion.
- Thinning Of Stevia Plant : Once stevia seedlings are 2–3 inches tall, thin them to maintain 8–12 inches of spacing.
- When stevia seedlings are attains a height of 3–4 inches and 4–6 true leaves are grown, transplant the stevia seedlings into their final location. Choose a sunny spot with well-draining soil, maintaining 12–18 inches of spacing between plants.
- Stevia can be harvested once the plant is 2–3 months old or when it reaches 12–18 inches in height. Harvest by snipping leaves or branches, focusing on mature growth. The sweetness is highest just before flowering.
How to Care for Stevia Plants?
- Pruning: Regularly prune the stevia plant to encourage bushy growth and prevent flowering.
- Fertilization: Use organic fertilizers sparingly, as excessive nutrients can reduce leaf sweetness of stevia.
- Pest and Disease Control: Monitor for aphids and spider mites, and use organic pest control methods if necessary.
- Winter Care: In colder regions, protect the stevia plant from frost by moving it indoors or covering it with mulch.

I had bought these seeds in 2021 and got 50% germination rates. I purchased their seeds again this year and again the seeds had germinated. I planted 10 seeds on September, 26 and on October 03, the first two seeds have sprouted. I'm happy with the results! 🌿
